Born and raised in Etobicoke, Marko Borys has proudly owned and operated Living Lighting Etobicoke-Kingsway for over 20 years. As an ALA Certified Lighting Specialist, he designs complete lighting plans that include landscape lighting, recessed lighting, decorative chandeliers, pendants, sconces, ceiling fans, and smart dimmers.
Marko’s expertise extends to commercial lighting design, with projects featured in popular Toronto restaurants such as the Brazen Head Irish Pub and Watermark Irish Pub. His hands-on approach means he manages every detail of the showroom — from product sourcing and inventory management to quoting, invoicing, and personalized customer service.
Known for greeting customers on a first-name basis, Marko combines lighting design expertise, eco-friendly solutions, and trusted supplier partnerships to help homeowners, designers, and contractors create beautiful, functional spaces.
An Etobicoke native, Lara Borys grew up just blocks away from the Living Lighting Etobicoke-Kingsway showroom. Lara specializes in in-home lighting consultations, spending dedicated time with clients to select the perfect chandeliers, pendants, sconces, ceiling fixtures, and outdoor lighting for their renovation and redecorating projects. Her design approach focuses on balancing style, function, and energy efficiency to create lighting plans that bring every room to life.
In addition to her work with clients, Lara manages all digital content and social media for Living Lighting, including the website, Instagram, and Facebook accounts.

With over 20 years of experience in the lighting industry, Rino brings a wealth of knowledge to the Living Lighting Etobicoke-Kingsway showroom. His career has spanned every aspect of lighting — from production and manufacturing to showroom sales and customer service — giving him an in-depth understanding of the technology inside lighting fixtures as well as their design applications.
For more than a decade at Living Lighting, Rino has been trusted with sales, customer inquiries, and quality control, ensuring that every project is completed with care and expertise. Whether it’s chandeliers, pot lights, LED fixtures, or outdoor lighting solutions, Rino’s attention to detail and technical know-how help clients make the right choice for their homes and businesses.
And if there’s ever a question he doesn’t know the answer to? Don’t worry — he’ll keep things light by playing you a tune on his bongo drum!
With over 25 years of experience in the electrical supply industry, Victor brings deep technical knowledge and reliability to the Living Lighting Etobicoke-Kingsway team. While new to the residential lighting side, Victor’s background ensures he quickly understands the needs of homeowners, designers, and contractors alike.
Victor also serves as our in-house lighting repair technician. Known for his skill and attention to detail, he’s never come across an incandescent lamp he couldn’t repair. His combination of electrical expertise and hands-on problem solving makes him an invaluable resource for both our showroom and our customers.
Maya is a talented fine art student at OCAD University with a passion for visual merchandising and creative display design. At Living Lighting Etobicoke-Kingsway, she brings an artistic eye to both the showroom and customer experience — helping clients explore their style and choose lighting that enhances their home’s character.
Maya especially enjoys the hands-on aspect of merchandising fixtures, arranging displays that transform the showroom into inspiring works of art. Her blend of artistic talent, design training, and customer focus makes her a valued part of our team and adds a unique creative energy to the store.
Vince, with 15+ years in the lighting industry, is known for his sales expertise, easygoing personality, and ability to keep customers laughing. A former guidance counselor, coach, and scuba instructor, he brings a unique mix of experience, passion, and customer care to the Living Lighting Etobicoke-Kingsway team.
